Killing few accounts after reviewing for more than a year. It was a long fight with relevant stakeholders, but glad that everything falls into place. Team lead thanked me a million, knowing the complexity and how we keep our spirits!
I remembered writing this blog in Feb- “Everything Will Fall Into Place Right?”. I was struggling, prolly due to change in segment, adapting new environment etc. Will things work out, I wonder. And then, I chanced upon this post on IG one day.
If you pay attention to the patterns of your life, you’ll realize everything always works out. Everything always takes you to a greater destination. You always grow and the things you think you can’t survive you somehow divinely make it through.
It’s a learning journey, I am coping better. Having system to work on now, though still working to deal with new colleagues (team is way bigger now). I reckon I don’t need to adjust myself completely to fit in. I am me! There might be times we cross paths, I will deal it professionally, I thought.
These 2 months, I am involved in university S.E.A Bicentenary celebration, as a volunteer staff. What a pleasure! Met people from different industries, even talked to the Minister (little scream at heart). Really glad that I made it to the event, catching up with seniors. I like being in purposeful event, what’s more, to help out and gain exposure!
I asked parents to come down for visit. Couldn’t go home until exam in July. It was rather a short sweet-escape. Not to mention, finally checking off bucket list having family photoshoot together! Something I have been wanting to do. Oh, and being a 29 y/o adult, I still have entire family picking me up after yoga class, I am defo a blessed girl!
Brought them to Tiong Bahru Bakery (mom loves it!), took nice photo together (friends of le mom were complementing I am cheerful), had Lok Lok (fried skewers), TripAdvisor #1 Thai food, yummy fish soup. Can’t wait for my exam to be done, so that I could go for night cycling, resume French class and try out new hobbies/ experience.
Guess everything indeed will fall into place as it’s meant to be. Fret not huh, everything happens at its right timing. Incidents we had, people we crossed path with… All’s good. I pick up cooking again recently, I am over the moon. Experimenting dishes I had in restaurant, so as to replicate at home! Not 100% perfection but well, at least I got my cravings satisfied.
Side track: I really love I have few hobbies to fall back on- cooking, photography, writing, yoga/ pilates, reading, listening to music (singing out of my lung too). Very healing. And I need no one to do them with, enjoying le quiet moments at home, in the gym and outdoors!
Ps. Choosing this picture cause I like how Sun sends its warmth to everyone. Positive vibes too!
